Tom and Haley were one of those couples that photographers dream of! They were kind, organized, thought of every detail, and also ridiculously good looking! We met about a year in advance when I got the chance to take their fall engagement photographs.  I fell in love with them during that session as we laughed together and explored a Kathryn Albertson Park in Boise, Idaho.  I knew after taking their engagement photos that their wedding was going to be extremely special!

The weather that Saturday was literally perfect, the sun warmed our skin, but there were a few clouds to give us a break from the summer's early heat.  The girls got ready at the gorgeous Grove Hotel in downtown Boise, which gave me the perfect setting for taking the getting ready shots- some of my favorite images to take during the day! However, I have to share a funny memory from the day! I had no idea that a comic convention was going on downtown, so I was extremely confused why there were so many people dressed up costumes running around- we're talking thousands of people! When I walked into the hotel, the lobby was literally PACKED full of Comic-Con characters and people looked at me like I was the strangest thing they've ever seen! I rode the elevator with a man in a full spandex body suit, Mario, and several other very interesting characters that I wish I knew the name for! Haley got a picture with Captain Hook, who was right outside our suite window! The memories are priceless!

The rest of the day went just as planned- peaceful, love filled, and tons of fun! The dancing at their wedding was some of the most fun I've ever witness as a photographer! I laughed and danced and joined in on the dance floor with them, capturing every crazy moment I saw happening! Tom and Haley both attended the University of Idaho, so there were several U of I fight song chants happening throughout the night! Overall, the wedding was a blast and every guest who attended left with full hearts and massive smiles on their faces!
